Climbing Rope Rugs

My wife and I are avid climbers and outdoor enthusiasts living in Colorado. A few years ago we found ourselves overrun with retired climbing ropes that held too many memories to just throw away. So my wife taught herself to weave them into doormats and started giving mats to family members as Christmas gifts. Before long friends realized what she was doing and started sending us ropes to make into rugs. Now instead of being overrun with old climbing rope, we are now overrun with doormats! All of the rugs shown on this website are being sold or have sold on our Etsy shop.

We also branched out into climbing-related jewelry by producing climbing nut and hex bolo ties. I wore one of these to our own wedding and have since worn it to other dressy events and received many compliments.
